Unicode Consortium published 20 new emojis and the color variants that will reach users’ digital communication services and devices over the next year. New features include goose, comb, and a quivering face.
The Unicode 15.0 standard published by the Consortium includes: a total of 4,489 new charactersincluding 20 new emoji and new sequences coming to phones.
from the part emojiincludes musical instruments such as standard, maracas, and flute; elements of nature such as hyacinth flower, ginger root or pea pod; animals such as geese, deer heads, donkeys, gray wings and black birds; and objects such as combs and fans, as well as gray, light blue, and solid pink hearts.
Also included are the khanda and wireless symbols, with a shaking face and two hands pushing one right and one left in different color variants. Other additions mean: 4193 ideograms Chinese, Japanese and Korean and two new scripts as specified in the Unicode version.
Consortium with Unicode 15.0 149,186 total characters can be used for digital communication between users and 161 scripts.
