“Schools have already chosen the best. The final stage before the start begins now – the verification of students. It is necessary to make sure that future students meet all the criteria. Everything is going as quickly as possible, so the school will soon sign the first contracts with verified participants, “Fedorov said.

According to him, the Ministry of Statistics is interested in analyzing the applications of people who applied for the project.

“One of the schools shared a ‘sweater portrait’. Of the 110 selected participants, 82% have an above-average level of English. All students took a speaking English test on a video. 91% were interested. They took IT and programming mini-courses on their own,” said Fedorov.

Most of those who passed the election had management experience. Many lecturers, graduate students and teachers. There are also engineers, a rehabilitation doctor, and even a law firm owner.

“People who have already been able to build a successful career in other fields are ready to relearn and start from the trainee / junior position. If you have a great desire to become an Attitude, the previous occupation does not matter,” said Fedorov. .

He added that the Ministry of Digitization is simultaneously communicating with IT companies – many of them are interested in IT Generation graduates and are ready to recruit them for entry-level positions.

As reported, in June, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched a new IT Generation project together with partners, the Binance blockchain ecosystem and the Lviv IT Cluster.

Within this framework, Ukrainians between the ages of 21-60 who have never received IT specialization training and have no work experience in this field will be able to gain a new qualification. Study duration: two to six months, depending on the study program.

The main purpose of IT Generation is to help talented Ukrainians find themselves in one of the most promising areas, to develop the Ukrainian economy and continue to work for the victory and successful future of our country.
