They are already integrated into WhatsApp, although they cannot be used. solves the usual queries that can arise in any conversation: WhatsApp polls will be one of the next new features of the platform. And we were able to access them on our mobile.

WhatsApp hasn’t made much headway in news beyond its excellent messaging tool. does not pay to take risks by trying risky functions with user volume. Although they miss out on advanced conversation opportunities, both privately and in group. Edit messages, for example; something that will happen in the future. Or do polls, a function that will necessarily land earlier.

Ask what you want in any of your chats

Polls allow you to ask questions about any topic. And the answers can be sorted by dragging.

Surveys are already inside the WhatsApp app. As is often the case with future features, they are kept hidden in the code. so no one can access them until they are fully set. As WaBetaInfo confirmed, WhatsApp is testing the button in the attachment option to create a direct poll. And we agreed with them.

Once active, to poll a person’s or group’s opinion, all you have to do is open the attached elements of the chat (on the clip icon) and select the suspect these polls button. After completing the step, WhatsApp will allow you to type the question in the text field at the top and add all possible answers in the boxes below. The order of these questions can be changed by holding down the three horizontal lines of each area (and dragging the question to the desired location).

We could not activate the button to start polls from the conversation window, but yes we were able to test one of these surveys. In our experience, their qualifications are:

  • They can be created in both individual and group chats.
  • The title question supports up to 255 characters. Each possible answer can contain up to 100 characters.
  • The polls accept eleven possible answers.
  • It is possible to observe the results after the completion of each questionnaire.

Presumably the person creating a poll on WhatsApp can choose its duration, but we ignore these limits and whether it can be customized. The functionality is not yet available, but it shouldn’t take long, at least in the beta version of WhatsApp. We were able to access it using application code and root.
