OUR Huawei announced the launch of its new router Huawei WiFi Mesh 3with Wi-Fi 6 Plus coming soon to Brazil.

The router comes at a time when there is a demand for technologies that can provide wide, high-bandwidth Wi-Fi coverage.

Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 with WiFi 6 Plus

Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 features Wi-Fi 6 Plus with dual-band transmission, delivering wireless speeds of up to 3000Mbps – up to 2402Mbps in the 5GHz band and up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. In tests conducted by the company, the Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 device can cover up to 200 m2. With two paired routers, the coverage area increases to 400 m², and with three routers connected, the total area can reach 600 m2.

In addition to providing good area coverage, the device also supports HarmonyOS Mesh+, a technology that establishes a single and coordinated network between paired routers of the same model, expanding signal coverage. Another Huawei-exclusive feature is Super Seamless Roaming, based on seven roaming algorithms (including 802.11k and 802.11v), which provides a more stable transition between access points, with a delay of up to 50ms¹ at the time of switching. The device even supports simultaneous connection of more than 250 devices and is equipped with four separate power amplifiers, each of which is dedicated to processing a specific signal.

Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 transmits the Internet between devices via Huawei’s “Super Dual Band Network”, which combines network channels in the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands to achieve simultaneous transmission and increase throughput from the Internet. Even at a distance of several walls, Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 can transmit a stable and high-speed signal up to 3000 Mbps.

For now, Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 can only be purchased overseas, but the brand is predicted to bring it to the Brazilian market soon.
