We must also take into account that this is a material with a limited life, that is, it deteriorates over time, it loses its properties and eventually becomes useless junk. When this happens, temperatures skyrocket and if we don’t change it, we risk damaging our components.
Replacing the thermal paste is one of the maintenance more important which we have to do from time to time. It doesn’t have to be every six months or even every year, in fact there are thermal pastes that will maintain a good level for three, four or even five years, but it is advisable to take regular temperature measurements to identify minor problems of excessive temperature because will be a clear indicator that we need to replace the thermal paste.
