BanklessTimes has published a new rating of mobile devices with the maximum power of radio frequency radiation. The list includes ten gadgets of different brands, almost a third of them were released by Google.

According to the source, the leader in the anti-rating of current models was Motorola Edge, whose SAR value is 1.79 W / kg. This is more than the limit of 1.6 W/kg recommended by the US FDA regulator.

The second place belongs to the ZTE Axon 11 5G (1.59 W/kg), and the third place is taken by the OnePlus 6T (1.55 W/kg). Close the top five Sony Xperia XA2 Plus and Google Pixel 3 XL.

At the same time, there is no scientific evidence of the effect of radio frequency radiation on health today. Devices with network coverage from 2G to 4G emit in the range of 0.7-2.7 GHz, and 5G gadgets can operate at frequencies up to 80 GHz. Such frequencies are not ionizing, and their low energy is insufficient to change DNA, which increases the risk of developing cancer.
