Technology and webcast 9to5Google has discovered a new feature in the stable build of Chrome 105. It’s currently hidden in the flags menu, but you can enable it manually.

The exact timing of the launch of the feature is currently unknown, but you won’t have to wait too long.
If you want to add a bit more security to your private browser sessions anyway, enter: “chrome://flags/#incognito-reauthentication-for-android” in the address bar and search.
The browser will highlight the desired item in yellow in the list of experimental functions. In the drop-down list Select “Enabled”.
The browser then prompts you to restart the application for the changes to take effect.
After rebooting go to settings and select “Privacy and security”. Find and Enable the “Block incognito tabs after closing Chrome” switch. The system will prompt you to scan your fingerprint immediately.

Note that Chrome on iOS has had a biometric Incognito feature called Privacy Screen for several years now. But this is a first for Android.
