iOS 16.1 beta 2 was released yesterday, where Apple developers changed the design of the battery level indicator in the status bar. The battery icon itself will no longer be charged. Instead, the icon will dynamically change based on battery charge.
The battery icon sparked controversy soon after it was added to the iOS 16 beta test. Many users criticized the design for showing a battery icon filled with a percentage inside.
The new design of the battery level indicator also has a bolder font than before. While your iPhone is charging, the lightning bolt icon will no longer appear after it reaches 100% charge.
Also fixed the bug of copying and pasting text between different programs that was reported yesterday. The release date of iOS 16.1 has not yet been specified. Source
