As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported this on Telegram.
“Thanks to your donations, the Drone Army has purchased and delivered three important sets of UAVs for our reconnaissance. These are drones with a built-in thermal imager that allows the armed forces to operate at any time of the day.”
The Ministry urged to continue supporting the Drone Army to make it possible to purchase more of the required drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The DJI Matrice 300 is a multicopter equipped with thermal imaging cameras and artificial intelligence technology that can focus on targets and detect potential danger. The drone’s flight time is 55 minutes, and its maximum altitude is 7000 meters.
As reported, “UAV Army” is a project initiated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Digital. This is a comprehensive program where systematic drone acquisition, repairs, and training courses for relevant specialists are planned. The project started on 1 July.
