Ericsson, a world leader in telecommunications equipment and solutions for operators, has presented a catalog of more than 200 AI applications to help telecommunications providers improve the efficiency and flexibility of their mobile networks.
As reported by Ukrinform, this is stated in the company’s press release.
It is noted that the application catalog is divided into five functional categories: analytics, performance, control, self-healing and energy efficiency.
Each of the AI applications is an intelligent algorithm designed to eliminate potential network problems.
“Combined with Ericsson’s telecom expertise, pre-trained algorithms also work within certain parameters to improve performance in line with the service provider’s goals. The application with artificial intelligence works 24/7, providing full monitoring of the network.”
Ericsson also gave an example during testing that one of the apps in the catalog benefited the customer by making 200 fixes to its network in a month without physical intervention.
As Ukrinform reports, the British company DeepMind Technologies Limited has deciphered the structure of more than 200 million proteins known to science to date, thanks to artificial intelligence.
