Group matches were the scene of great moments in the Turkey Auditions, where the winning team qualifies for the 2022 HOK Champions tournament.

The group stage of the 2022 Honor of Kings Championship Turkey Auditions, played between September 16 and 18, has come to an end. A total of 28 matches were played in the group stage, with 8 professional teams, each stronger and more assertive than each other, competing against each other. At the end of all matches, four teams, consisting of FUTNOVA, Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats, Fire Flux Esports and Digital Athletics, managed to make their names in the qualifying phase.

Notes from group matches

Of the 28 matches played in the 3-day group matches, “Menki” was the most banned hero, getting banned a total of 16 times, while the most chosen hero was “Lian Po” with 17 picks.

FUTNOVA was the team to win the group matches fastest, in which comebacks and aggressive tactics were prominent. It took FUTNOVA just 7 minutes and 45 seconds to beat Regnum Carya. The longest match was played between Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats and Fire Flux with a time of 31 minutes 57 seconds. At the end of this long battle, which was higher than the average of the other matches, the team that took the win was Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats.

The highest scoring match was played between Dark Passage and Fire Flux, with a total score of 53. The winning team in this high scoring match was Fire Flux with a score of 34-19.

The Istanbul Denizbank Wildcats team made the biggest comeback in the group matches where great comeback stories were experienced. Istanbul Denizbank Wildcats, who were 20-10 behind their opponent Fire Flux, managed to come back and take a win with several tactics employed throughout the match.

Elimination stages begin

FUTNOVA, Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats, Fire Flux Esports and Digital Athletics teams, whose names were written in the qualifying stage after 28 matches, joined the teams Beşiktaş Esports, Fenerbahçe Espor, Next Rüya and Papara Supermassive Blaze, who started the competition from the qualifying stage, as invited guests.

After the live draw, the quarter-final matches were also announced. The quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, September 24, and the semi-finals will be played on Sunday, September 25.
