NVIDIA has released a new version of its video card driver (in beta) to fix the poor performance that some PCs experience when upgrading to the latest version of Windows 11.

In a post on NVIDIA’s support page, they acknowledge the problem: “Some users may experience slower performance in games or applications after upgrading to Microsoft Windows 11 2022 Update”.

It took quite a while for NVIDIA to update their drivers to fix the problem. The published driver is in beta, but according to our own tests it works without problems. If you want to install it, you can do it in two different ways:

A- Manually download GFE.3.26.0.131 driver from NVIDIA official site. Once downloaded, proceed with the installation as you would any other Windows executable.

B- Open the GeForce Experience app and go to Settings. Select “Enable experimental features” and close the app. Wait a moment, open it again and see how the app automatically installs a new version with the problem fixed.

If you are not comfortable with the beta versions, NVIDIA is expected to release the final version of GeForce Experience 3.26. At the end of the week. It will include a new GeForce Game Ready driver that will solve the performance issue of your graphics chips with Windows 11 22H2.
