The Hubble Space Telescope photographed spiral galaxy NGC 5495 in the constellation Hydra with its Wide Field Camera 3 camera.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by the observatory.
NGC 5495 is located about 300 million light-years from our planet. The cosmic object is also called the Seyfert galaxy.

Seyfert galaxy is a type of spiral or irregular galaxy with a star-like active core and its emission spectrum contains multiple broad emission lines indicating strong gas emissions at speeds of 300-5000 kilometers per second.
It is stated that the image was taken from a series of observations made by astronomers studying supermassive black holes lurking in the middle of other galaxies.
Studying the central regions of galaxies can be a difficult task, as the luminosity of galaxy cores is affected by star forming regions and the light from stars that are already present.
The telescope’s crystal clear vision helped astronomers decipher the various light sources at the center of NGC 5495 and allowed them to learn the exact weight of the supermassive black hole.
As reported by Ukrinform, the NASA/ESA Hubble space telescope photographed the bright star IRAS 05506+2414 in the constellation Taurus with its Wide Field Camera 3 camera.
