The app was created in response to the educational challenges of wartime. It will help Ukrainian primary school students to learn mathematics according to the Ukrainian curriculum anywhere in the world.

“Since the start of the large-scale war in Ukraine, more than 2,248 educational institutions have been damaged and almost 287 destroyed. With millions of children displaced inside and outside Ukraine, we are creating a cost-effective, successful, technology-based solution that we can pass on to our teachers and parents, wherever they are. We needed the solution. The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Vitrenko, in the presentation, the practice “I work – I do not wait” is exactly for such a task and I am sure it will cope with it.” Said.

According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, this year 1-4. Nearly half a million schoolchildren, including primary school students, started the school year abroad.

The application allows children to stay in the Ukrainian educational context anywhere in the world.

The application is suitable for both offline at school and online learning anywhere in the world. It can also be used to study at home. Teachers can use it in different ways – for classwork, homework, tests.

In practice, the child learns by watching educational video lessons designed with microlearning approaches and playing educational interactive mini-games that help consolidate the material.

“Learning – not waiting” was developed based on the methodology of War Child Holland – partners specializing in creating educational products for children in countries with wars or armed conflicts. The organization has been using the Can’t Wait to Learn application, which implements this methodology, for 10 years in war-torn countries of the world, including Lebanon, Jordan and Sudan.

All videos and mini-games comply with the Ukrainian curriculum. Ukrainian children also participated in the implementation work – it was they who, at the stage of developing the tasks, determined how interesting and fun learning would be for them.

The math learning app is available for download on iOS and Android. At the same time, a separate application for learning the Ukrainian language will be available until the end of the year.
