At the end of October, a factory for the production of TOGG electric cars will be opened in western Turkey, the first cars will roll off the assembly line in March next year.

“The Turkish people have a 120-year-old dream that was left unfinished 60 years ago. This dream is Turkey’s car. The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said, “We undertook this task in 2017 and now we can compete with the world while we own all the rights.”
According to him, the TOGG factory in Hemlik (Afyonkarahisar province) will open on October 29 and the first electric cars will roll off the assembly line in March next year.
According to the news of Ukrinform, 250 robot cars will be assembled at the TOGG factory, which will produce the first Turkish electric car it has developed.
