US defense contractor Northrop Grumman provides high-precision GPS guided weapon kits to upgrade the conventional 155mm artillery shell to near 100% accuracy.

The Precision Guidance Kit (PGK) is a modification package that converts a standard 155mm artillery shell into a high-precision ammunition. It offers the accuracy and reliability of original abilities updated for the future battlefield.

The increased effectiveness provided by PGK capabilities allows operational commanders to achieve intended targets and achieve desired results quickly, while minimizing collateral damage.

The PGK provides enhanced fire support to the maneuvering forces command by effectively intercepting targets with conventional artillery munitions. It also reduces the number of rounds required to complete a firing mission.
