As reported by Ukrinform, the state concern “Ukroboronprom” reported this on Telegram.

200 participants, 50 teams and top 10 projects – these are the results of the first IDI Camp defense hackathon, which was held in Kiev on September 23-25, with the support of Ukroboronprom.

“For three days, IT specialists, engineers and designers worked with the military on innovative solutions that will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine gain a technological advantage over the enemy. Distraction and psychological effects systems, electromagnetic weapons, mines and explosive objects, UAVs, enemy Countermeasures against EW devices, mobile radar stations, etc.

At the forum for developers, the teams were provided with expert and mentoring support by Ukroboronprom, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Scientific Research Institute of the Armed Forces Armament and Military Equipment Center, as well as specially commissioned military personnel. came from the front.

Kyiv School of Economics taught participants how to present startups to potential investors.

“This event is special because it happens during the war. Therefore, today, we must develop something that can be adopted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces tomorrow and help the Ukrainian army liberate our cities. Now you spend your knowledge, skills, work and time on the future victory over the enemy – and we, together with the army, are the best we must contribute to the implementation of innovations as soon as possible” – stressed Yuriy Gusev, general director of Ukroboronprom. .

The total prize fund was $25,000. 10 projects received grants. In the first place – 4 thousand dollars, in the second – 1000 dollars.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukroboronprom and one of the NATO countries signed an agreement on the construction of a plant for the production of ammunition.
