American multinational Amazon held its traditional hardware launch event Wednesday, where it surprised it with a remote control powered by the voice of artificial intelligence Alexa, and also showed off its Echo Dot speakers with a revamped design and a digital clock.

The new remote was christened as: alexa pro It offers a “remote finder” function for when you get lost, as well as two new customizable buttons that let you create shortcuts to your favorite apps, content, and Alexa commands.

The Echo Dot speakers, meanwhile, now feature a digital clock, and the audio architecture has been redesigned to add a longer-throw speaker and custom range control for enhanced audio clarity and boosted bass.

Amazon introduces a new way to use Alexa
