Kaspersky has opened new facilities to build trust with the company’s business partners and customers in Italy and the Netherlands. The newly opened centers operate in a new format that offers customers and partners only the most popular service, which is an overview of Kaspersky’s engineering and data processing programs.
The biggest motivation for this move comes from the growing interest of companies to trust their technology suppliers and the fact that more than 70 IT decision makers declare the importance of continuous assurance that the IT solutions they use work under known and reliable conditions.
The new centers, which are part of the Kaspersky Global Transparency Initiative (GTI), aim to increase customer confidence in the company’s solutions by opening up the technology’s ‘black box’. With the launch of GTI in 2017, Kaspersky became the first cybersecurity company to open its source code to external review. The initiative aims to mobilize the wider community to verify and verify the reliability of Kaspersky products, internal processes and operations.
The opening of the new Transparency Centers reflects the company’s commitment to increasing transparency and accountability for its customers and partners. With new facilities in Utrecht and Rome, Kaspersky now has the largest transparency network of its kind in Europe, with headquarters in Madrid and Zurich.
Operating from the company’s offices in Rome and Utrecht and open to Kaspersky partners, customers and government cybersecurity officials, the centers will exclusively feature the blue ice rink, the most sought-after option among visitors to the Transparency Center since it opened. of the first facility in 2018 . The blue track provides an overview of Kaspersky’s engineering and data processing programs, products and services. During the visit, business partners and customers will be greeted by a team of Kaspersky experts, who will answer any questions about the company’s data processing practices and the operation of Kaspersky solutions, accompanied by a live demonstration of source code review.
Head of Business Development, Kaspersky Andrey Efremov, say: “Our Global Transparency Initiative has been running for five years. Throughout this journey, we have continuously sought more efficient mechanisms to help our partners and customers increase confidence and assurance in our solutions and services. The launch of new transparency centers, based on the company’s extensive experience and relationships with companies around the world, demonstrates the importance of providing greater transparency about how our technology works and how data is processed. At Kaspersky, we remain committed to ensuring this transparency.”
With two new facilities recently added, Kaspersky now has nine Transparency Centers in Europe, APAC, North America and Latin America. Previously opened hubs offer additional exploration options, such as red and black tracks, which differ in depth and the level of technical skill required. The first provides an overview of the most critical sections of the source code and targeted analysis of a particular function, while the second represents an in-depth and comprehensive review of the most critical sections of the Kaspersky source code.
