HSBC, a banking and financial services provider, has purchased a plot of land in The Sandbox metaverse. The company decided to use some of the space to “build” a virtual rugby stadium.

• The project, called The Hong Kong Sevens (in honor of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2022 championship), is run in partnership with Hong Kong company Index Game.
• The tournament will run from November 4-6.
• There will be a series of missions that will immerse players in the world of rugby.
