In May of this year, Microsoft made a trial version new Outlook for Windowsoriginally known as Project Monarchlimited to a small number of participants Office Insider Program with corporate accounts. The company has now announced the availability of a trial version of its new email client. for all program participants – this includes both members with corporate and personal accounts.

According to Microsoft, the new Outlook for Windows based on web technologiesoffers more modern look and features designed to help users organize their email without interfering with their personal productivity. It can be used by users running Windows 10 v1809 or later, Windows 11, and Windows 11 22H2.
After an initial trial release in May, Microsoft said it was looking into user feedback and is now ready to expand the availability of the new version of Outlook for Windows.
New Outlook for Windows based on web technologies, offers more modern look and features designed to help users organize their email without interfering with their personal productivity.
To test the new version of Outlook, subscribers to Microsoft 365 must join the Office Insider Program and subscribe to beta channel or fur Current channel (preview)as shown in the image below:

Upon completion of this step, the Office applications will be updated to the latest trial version. After you update your apps, open Outlook and look for an option to test the new Outlook for Windows. With this option enabled, a new version of the mail client will be installed automatically:

The new Outlook for Windows supports both corporate and personal Microsoft accounts with domains such as @live.com, @outlook.com as well as @hotmail.com. The bad news is that while this trial can only be used with one account. Other limitations of this trial version of the new Outlook for Windows include no support for offline useno folder search support, no add-on support, and no native support ICS file. For those who don’t know, this file type is used in software like traditional Microsoft Outlook, email application and others. With it, users can quickly add events to their calendars or share them with others. Apple and Microsoft, for example, use files in this format when announcing their events.
