In the new test build of Windows 11, a feature that users have wanted for a long time has appeared. Now right click on the taskbar, you can open “Task Manager” from the context menu.
“Based on your feedback, we’ve added a link to Task Manager when you right-click on the taskbar,” said Microsoft’s Amanda Langowski and Brandon LeBlanc.
In addition, Insiders have gained access to the notification area icon replacement, but not all Early Access members will be able to take advantage of this feature yet.
Also, Microsoft has started offering new settings for widgets on the Dev channel. You can now show the widget panel when hovering over the taskbar icon.
The beta channel re-introduced a special version of the taskbar for touchscreen devices. This panel is visible only when the keyboard is closed or folded on 2-in-1 devices where you need to use the display. It is not yet clear when these features will appear in the release. Source
