Tesla CEO Elon Musk presented a prototype of the Optimus humanoid robot.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to The Guardian.
An experimental version of the robot developed by Tesla in February waved to the audience at the presentation.
In particular, a video was also shown of the robot carrying a can, watering the factories, and lifting metal bars at the company’s production station.
The Tesla boss added that there is a lot of work ahead of us to develop the robot.
The company sees the future of its robots in mass participation in factories that could affect the further development of humanity in the long run.
According to Musk, Optimus will be a powerful robot, the company plans to manufacture them in large quantities – up to a million units – and will cost much less than a Tesla car.
The cost of the robot is estimated to be around $20,000.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Tesla company is recalling about 1.1 million vehicles in the US due to an issue with window regulators.
