It’s not really a particularly complex approach, but the lack of clear communication about it has taken its toll.
Then we find the catalog. OF the promise of thousands of titles from so many developers, we move to a forecast of 120 titles in 2020, an offer that would be bolstered by the company’s own studies. Studios that ultimately failed to bring a single title to the platform and that closed at the beginning of 2021. A year for which Stadia once again promised a catalog growth that never materialized.

And it’s true that multiplayer is in a golden age, but the last few years have seen the release of many single-player titles that demonstrate that this premise is fundamentally wrong as to be absurd.
Now, of course, we are left with a question what would happen to Google Stadia if it had an exclusive signed by Hideo Kojima, but I can hardly imagine that it would not significantly change the success of the platform. Something added to Phil Harrison’s syllabus requires him to ask about the percentage value of a manager’s responsibility when closing a service. The good news, yes, is that Kojima’s project has not been ruled out. On the contrary, it is the one we told you about a few months ago, which is already being developed with Xbox Games Studios.
