The State Special Communications Service warns of a new hacker attack on the mobilization issue.

According to Ukrinform, the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine reports in a Telegram.

Enemy hackers are once again attacking Ukrainians using “hot” military themes. This time – about mobilization.

The government’s Computer Emergency Response Team CERT-UA, operating under the auspices of the State Special Communications Service, warns of the widespread distribution of dangerous XLS documents called “Mobilization Register.xls” among Ukrainian citizens.

Opening the document will eventually launch the malicious IcedID program, also known as BankBot, on your computer. It belongs to the class of “Banking Trojans” and allows, among other things, theft of authentication data.

As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov said that Russia spends tens of millions of dollars a day on cyberattacks on Ukrainian resources.
