The flying machine is designed to carry two to four passengers without a pilot in the cockpit.

The company says aerotaxi has completed more than 1,600 test flights and will soon be applying for a flight certificate with the US Federal Aviation Administration.

In total, the device has 12 propellers located across the 15 meter width of its wings.

In the middle of the cabin there are comfortable seats and more than enough space for luggage. Each passenger has a separate screen in front of them that displays important information such as the route and the progress of the journey. There is also Wi-Fi and built-in outlets for charging gadgets.

It is stated that the cruising speed of the air taxi is 222 km per hour at an altitude of 762-1220 m from the ground.

The flight range on a single charge is 144 km. It is expected to take only 15 minutes to charge itself.

Wisk said it’s aiming for an air taxi fare of $3 per passenger mile (1.6 km).
