OnePlus has announced a new collaboration for OnePlus TVs in India. The company has signed an agreement with Reliance Jio to bring the JioPages telecom operator to OnePlus TV in India. For the uninitiated, JioPages is a Chromium Blink based web browser that allows users to view content on their smart TVs.

OnePlus claims that the JioPages browser will provide Smart TV users with enhanced viewing capabilities through the faster migration of the Chromium engine, which is in line with new web trends. The new browser allegedly provides better viewing of web pages and works on smart TVs as well as on desktop.

OnePlus has announced its partnership with Reliance Jio to provide the JioPages web browser for its smart TVs in India. As mentioned above, the browser is based on the Chromium engine. OnePlus claims that in addition to the aforementioned benefits, Smart TV users can also count on smooth navigation and voice search. Also, the browser has a built-in ad blocker.

Jio introduced its new web browser in 2020. Since then, the company has added a few new features to its web browser. Jio recently introduced a safe mode feature that allows users to securely and privately access content online without the need for a separate browser extension. Along with VPN and Safe Mode, OnePlus states that users can access global content without any browser ads or security concerns.
