South Korean company Samsung has updated its budget smartphone Galaxy A11 to Android 12, GSMArena portal reported. The gadget was introduced in March 2020.
The Galaxy A11 is said to have received Android 11 last year and has now been updated to Android 12. The firmware includes the August 2022 security patch, which fixes dozens of vulnerabilities that threaten users’ security and privacy.
Along with Android, the UI has also been updated to One UI Core 4.1. Thanks to this, the Galaxy A11 has new features, including a customizable system color palette and updated widgets. System programs have also been improved.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 was announced in March 2020. The smartphone received a budget Snapdragon 450 chip and 2 to 4 GB of RAM, depending on the modification. Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2 skin was installed as the operating system on the Galaxy A11.
