Xiaomi has introduced its flagship 12T series, which includes the Xiaomi 12T with a new chip from MediaTek and the 12T Pro with a 200MP camera. This was reported by the Gizmochina portal.

Smartphones of the Xiaomi 12T series received a unified design and features, with some differences. Both devices are equipped with 6.67-inch OLED displays with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support. The new products also got a cutout in the middle of the screen for the under-display fingerprint scanners and the front camera.

The base Xiaomi 12T model is equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The 12T Pro model, on the other hand, received a 200MP main sensor, while the auxiliary sensors remained unchanged. A 20MP front camera is placed at the front.

The updated MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra chip is responsible for the performance in the Xiaomi 12T and the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 in the Xiaomi 12T Pro. 5,000mAh batteries with 120W fast charging are also claimed.

Both models come pre-loaded with Android 12 operating system and are loaded with proprietary MIUI 13 skin on top. Xiaomi has promised 3 updates and 4 years of total security support for Android and MIUI.

The cost of the Xiaomi 12T in the 8/128 GB version starts at €600. Xiaomi 12T Pro with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory in Europe is asking for 750 €.
