In addition to the quad-core T-Head TH1520 with a peak frequency equal to 2.5 GHz, Rome has 16 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 256 GB of internal SSD memory, a 14.1-inch matrix with Full HD resolution. keyboard, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, a slot for SD cards, HDMI, Ethernet, USB-C and USB-A connectors.

Like the laptop itself, Roma runs on the unique OpenAnolis operating system, developed within the walls of the Alibaba conglomerate. OpenAnolis is one of many operating systems considered Linux. Thus, after purchasing a laptop, OpenAnolis can be replaced, for example, by Ubuntu, which in 2022 gets support for RISC-V processors.

Currently, the Roman laptop can only be purchased from the Alibaba market. They’re asking for $1499 there. Alibaba is expected to release 100 copies of this device by the end of the year. In the first quarter of 2023, the circulation will increase to 1,000 devices.
