Anonymous announced that one of Gazprom companies was hacked and leaked more than 700 GB of data.

The hacker group Anonymous, which has declared cyber war on Russian state institutions since the war in Ukraine, made another statement about hacking.

This time, hackers claim to have hacked into one of Gazprom’s companies (joint venture with Linde) and sent 768,000 letters to employees of Gazprom’s Linde Engineering, part of the Russian gas giant. Gazprom Linde Engineering designs various plants.

“Anonymous consolidated 768,000 emails (728 GB) through DDoSecrets from Gazprom Linde Engineering, which specializes in the design of gas and petrochemical treatment plants and refineries.” Anonymous

Gazprom Linde Engineering’s customers are Gazprom, Gazprom Invest, Gazprom Nafta, Linde, Novatek, Tatnafta, China National Chemical Engineering, Sojitz and RusChemAlliance. Source
