The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Perseverance rover collected the 13th soil sample from the Red Planet as part of its mission.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by the spacecraft’s press service. Twitter.

Press service, “Great place to collect lucky stone core 13!” said.

The Perseverance team is said to hope to collect another similar rock sample at this site on the Red Planet.

As Ukrinform reports, the Perseverance spacecraft was sent to Mars along with the Ingenuity helicopter as part of the NASA research mission on February 18, 2021.

One of its missions is to collect rock samples on Mars, which will be taken to Earth by a special joint mission of the European Space Agency and NASA.
