For starters, at 111mm x 58mm x 12mm it can be carried in a pocket or backpack and used both on the desk and on the go, including any scenario thanks to its Durable aluminum housing with IP68 certification dust/water, crush or drop resistant up to 3 meters, making it ideal for photography or video professionals.

When it comes to connectivity, the SanDisk Professional PRO-G40 bets on the versatility it has dual interface, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 on a single port, eliminating the need to have two different units, one for each interface.

Robustness and durability should not be at odds with performance, and this drive is capable of delivering data transfers of up to 2700 / 1900 MB per second in sequential read / write mode, ideal for real-time editing and directly from the 4K / 8K resolution unit, for AR / VR rendering or data transfer at maximum speed.
