Speaking to 9to5Mac, this Apple Watch user explained that he had the watch on his wrist when he noticed that the watch was getting much hotter than usual. He immediately called Apple support to explain the situation. The manager gathered the information and told him not to touch the clock until he heard from the company. The next morning, the Apple Watch became too hot to touch and the device’s screen cracked.

When the user picked up the Apple Watch to take a photo to send to Apple, it immediately started making “cracking” sounds. Then the clock exploded and left a mark on the couch. He then contacted Apple again to report the situation. The case was said to have a “higher priority”.
