Sony has released a system software update for the PlayStation 5 console under the number 22.02-06.00.01.
The changelog only mentions improved system performance, but that should be enough for owners to update their console as soon as possible.
This September, the PS5 launched major update 22.02-06.00.00, which brings 1440p HDMI video output options and the ability to create customizable game lists in the game storage library.
Sony has recently released a new revision of the PlayStation 5 that gets AMD’s 6nm SoC called Oberon Plus. The design and features of the Oberon Plus are the same as the 7nm Oberon, but the new SoC is manufactured using a more advanced process, resulting in lower power consumption and heat generation.
