G2 Gozen suffers first defeat since 2021

When Game Changers Series 3 began, G2 Gozen’s undefeated streak against Guild X came to an end.

With a quick win over the last map Pearl, Gozen managed to push his opponent into the lower group by beating Guild X in the upper group semi-finals. Gozen advanced to the next round, beating NAVI Celestials 2-0, while Guild X also knocked out Acend Rising, TENSTAR Nova and NAVI after extremely tough matches. Gilde X had to climb to the top again step by step.

The controversial five-card series started off well with G2, winning their first favorite card, Bind, but only losing three rounds to the second card, Fracture. G2 is back at Gozen Pearl and takes the lead again. Both Ascent and Icebox went the way Guild X wanted, Neslişah ‘Ness’ Demir showed us a very tight show with both her first choice Viper and her Omen roster.

The VCT Game Changers Championship is starting to appear on the horizon. Can G2 Gozen make an ambitious, win-hungry comeback? Or will Guild X once again prove what a disaster he’s been for the team? We will wait.
