At the Google I/O developer conference held for the first time in May this year, it was known that the company was developing a new tablet. Now the search giant has officially presented the gadget, but it will only be released next year.

Visually, the tablet resembles the old Pixel 3 smartphone, with the same rectangular shape with rounded corners and a back panel with a new coating that looks like porcelain.

More and more apps are taking advantage of stylus support and split-screen, so Google has put special emphasis on that too. The company claims that this is the best Android tablet because the system here is best adapted to the big screen. This is facilitated by the new proprietary processor Tensor G2, which is also equipped with Pixel 7 smartphones Video calls, YouTube, photo editing, Google Assistant – all this will be used perfectly on the Pixel tablet.

One of the main questions facing the Google team was how to make the tablet useful for everyone. The answer was a docking station combined with a smart speaker. When a user connects a Pixel Tablet to it, the tablet turns into a Nest Hub smart display. At the same time, you can not only charge the device, but also talk to the device using the voice assistant. The docking station is magnetic, so the tablet is easily inserted and removed. Also in this mode, it can act as a photo frame displaying pictures from Google Photos. The Pixel Tablet, which will be released in 2023, promised to reveal its features, prices and other details later.
