The Hackathon event, organized by Anadolu Sigorta for the sixth time this year, took place between September 29 and October 2. It took place with the participation of 29 teams. At the Hackathon, held this year with the theme “Mobile Game”, IThe three best projects won a total of 65 thousand TL in prizes. At Anadolu Sigorta Mobile Game Hackathon, Anka Games, Mr. Murphy at the Amusement Park won first place, Trainspotting Studio took second place with the Murphy’s Car project and the Dumbo Games team took third place with the Insurance Run project.

Anadolu Sigorta held the sixth Hackathon event this year, which it has been organizing since 2017 to develop innovative ideas that can bring benefits related to insurance in the daily lives of its potential and existing customers. While 554 people from 229 groups registered for the online event held between September 29 and October 2, a total of 29 teams won the right to participate as a result of the pre-selection. With its high number of applications, the competition is among the Hackathons that receive the most applications in Turkey.

For the first time this year, themed “Beat the Murphy Law” as “Mobile Game” The first three projects were awarded a total of 65,000 TL during the event. Anka Games, who came first, got 30 thousand TL, second place Trainspotting Studio 20 thousand TL and third place Dumbo Games 15 thousand TL.

Anka Games team consisting of 3 software developers Mr. He developed a game called Murphy at Amusement Park, which is designed as 3 separate games and has the ability to switch between each other. Using the visuals and sound effects they designed and developed in the game, the team, inspired by Murphy’s Laws, anticipates the bad events that can happen to the father and daughter who go to the amusement park by car.

The second team, Murphy’s Car, designed by Trainspotting Studio, consists of a simulation of the events that can happen to someone trying to get home with their car. The vehicle encounters obstacles such as meteor, fire, collapse or the end of the road on the road. Players try to reach the destination by drawing a new road and protecting the car from other dangers.

The third team, Dumbo Games’ Insurance Run, was designed based on the obstacles encountered by a courier delivering the packages to the address. In the game, when the cargo driver goes through the insurance door, he gets protection, while the bumps in the roadIt reduces the player’s health.
