The Google Pixel Fold continues to raise many doubts. This is the name under which the first smartphone with a flexible panel that the Mountain View giant will be launched and that according to earlier rumors it would be delayed for various reasons on many occasions, so not because of a simple problem in the market, nor because of the current economic situation, there are other reasons behind this, unfortunately we do not know
All in all, the wait seems to be over soon if analyst Ross Young’s prediction turns out to be correct. This points to that Google Pixel Fold will launch in the first quarter of 2023, and that’s not a random prediction, it’s backed up by information Young has obtained from various sources in the industry. This means that even though it is unofficial and unconfirmed, it has high credibility.
If we look at the history that the Google Pixel Fold is pulling, we see that the slaunch u was originally planned for 2021, something that obviously didn’t happen. There were later rumors pointing to a 2022 launch, but that was ultimately delayed as it was theoretically not up to par with its direct rival, the Galaxy Z Fold3, both in terms of performance and user experience. Now, according to data provided by Ross Young, its new release date is set for the first quarter of 2023, between January and March of that year.

As a result of all these delays, we can take it for granted that the Google Pixel Fold passed through “body and paint” several times, which means that the final model, which will theoretically arrive in 2023, could come with changes at the design level, as well as a new set of more powerful components than those originally planned for 2021. We don’t have many details, unfortunately, but everything seems to indicate that it will be smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, that it will have a 120Hz screen and that it will use a new, much more powerful SoC.
Other important keys such as its design and its selling price have not been revealed yet, but we generally hope that it starts from a similar approach to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and that it is priced below €1,500, although this could change due to the strength of the dollar. It is not clear whether its commercialization will be international or whether it will be limited to certain markets.
