Russian special services are trying to master the technology of deep fakes. It is based on artificial intelligence and allows you to create a fake video of a famous person saying things that are not unique to him.

This time, the Russians tried to contact one of the founders of the Baykar defense company, which produces the famous Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles. The call was made on behalf of Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, whose video footage was created using deepfake technology.

Instead of the expected meeting with Halyuk, the Russians talk with an equally fake “Secretary of the Baykar company” and ask, “What happened to the Crimean bridge?” They had to answer his question.

“It should be noted that the Russian agents, who exposed themselves several times during the conversation, had a low level of education. Because they did not know the correct pronunciation of the stable phrase “babine leto”, which they pronounced in Russian “babie”. leto”, – stressed the GUR.

The purpose of this action was an attempt to discredit the cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey. At the end of the meeting, the Russian agents were informed that they had been exposed and that they would be prosecuted according to the report.

According to the news, the Turkish company Baykar plans to establish a factory in Ukraine for the production of Bayraktar TB2 attack aircraft and to create a new unmanned fighter aircraft, Bayraktar Akıncı and Bayraktar Kızılelma, in Ukraine.
