GeForce NOW is constantly adding games and demos

You certainly remember that last week we told you about the new GeForce NOW feature, NVIDIA ‘s cloud gaming service, which, in addition to allowing you to play games from your service – supported libraries on its servers, now also offers game demos, so you can judge for yourself before deciding whether or not to buy them. An idea that already sounded good in theory and that improves when he jumps into practice.

As a longtime GeForce NOW user, the first thing I did when I was given the opportunity was to try one of the demos, and if expectations were high, their contact with reality was even more satisfactory. I haven’t tried all the demos that are part of this feature yet, which I remember are as follows:

  • chorus
  • Riftbreakers
  • Diplomacy is out of the question
  • ghostrunner
  • Registration
  • seekers
  • Boots Boi

As I say, I haven’t had time to test all the demos in GeForce NOW, and “work” seems to be accumulating as traditions add new titles to the service catalog every Thursday, today also adds the arrival of a new demo, that Terraformers: First Steps on MarsPrologue Terraformers, which will allow us to take command of a human department with a mission to colonize Mars.

While the GeForce NOW demo is new for now, personally I hope this is a feature that has a long way to go, and that brings us back to a time when game demos were fully on the agenda. Whether it was for the PC or especially for the consoles, and as one of our readers remembered last week, the CD / DVD that came with some magazines allowed us to taste a little news and have a clear purchase decision.

With the GeForce NOW demo you can return this spirit, only cWith the tremendous convenience that the cloud game model provides NVDIA services. Could it eventually become a benchmark for testing new games? We will have to wait for that, but the very possibility that this is the case seems like great news to me.

And it is worth mentioning, among them Need for Speed HEAT and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, both from Origin, an Electronic Arts store, remind us again that the scope of GeForce NOW, not only in games but also on platforms, aspires to be as wide as possible.
