Introducing the technologies building the robot understanding of the future

Mitsubishi Electric, which participated in the Robot Investments Summit and Exhibition with its industrial robots, MELFA ASSISTA cobots, MELSERVO and MELSEC PLC technologies, provided the participants with a digital experience with interactive robot demos.MELSEC PLC; Although MELSERVO attracted attention with their features such as reducing costs, increasing reliability and ensuring reusability of existing assets, MELSERVO, which offers superior machine performance, and flexible industrial robots, which increase productivity at a high level , also in to become the stars of the event. The collaborative robots of the MELFA ASSISTA series, on the other hand, received full praise from the visitors with their groundbreaking features in understanding smart manufacturing and the future of automation.

“Robots add value not only to production, but also to life”

Speaking on the “Digital Transformation of Robotic Manufacturing Cells” panel at the Robot Investments Summit and Exhibition Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems Product Management and Marketing Unit Manager Tolga Bizel, shared the following with participants: “Looking at the different stages of the industry, we see that many processes are done manually, requiring more human labor. Today, Industry 4.0, which transforms and shapes every aspect of life, makes all related processes much more comfortable and practical. By helping to channel the human workforce into creative and more qualified fields, the transformation is bringing manufacturing processes to digital. In order to fully build digitally, four steps must be implemented. This one; sensors that collect data, industrial communication protocols needed to transmit the collected data, cloud systems that store the transmitted data, and finally, data analysis that makes the data meaningful. When this mechanism is in place, fast, efficient and flexible robots that properly direct the workforce do a great job in production. The industry’s new workforce, robots and cobots, which are in the last stage of the innovation pyramid, are building the working model of the future today, thanks to human-robot collaboration. We as Mitsubishi ElectricWe make production lines flexible with our robots, the fastest growing segment of industrial automation. We are signing robotic technologies that add value not only to production, but also to life.”
