Vodafone mobile operator is connected to the BankID system of the National Bank of Ukraine.

In the statement, “Another mobile operator – Vodafone – joined the NBU BankID System. Now, Ukrainian citizens who want to transfer a mobile phone number from another operator to Vodafone Ukraine network can do this remotely by identifying their identity through the NBU BankID System.”
The Central Bank emphasized that to transfer the number, it is enough to have an individual account in one of the 40 banks of the BankID system of the NBU. You can find more information about this service on the official website of the mobile operator Vodafone.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine removed tariffs for services in the BankID system during the period of martial law.
The National Bank’s BankID system is a government remote identification system through which citizens can securely access online access to government, financial and business services.
