The iPhone SE 4 will be the successor to the current model, which we know was launched last March, which once again used the iPhone 8 design. very important implications that go beyond the aesthetic level and which affect the functional level, since the said model does not have functions that have been standardized within the Apple iPhone range, such as Face ID.
Before the launch of the iPhone SE 2022, there were rumors that the said terminal would use a completely “new” design, in quotes, because this family of terminals actually recycle designs that Apple has already used in previous models (the first iPhone SE was an iPhone 5 in design), but these rumors ultimately did not come true and Apple repeated the design of the iPhone 8.
According to new information that sounds quite strong, Apple is planning to change the design of the iPhone SE 4, and everything indicates that it will have the same front we saw on the iPhone X and iPhone Xr, that is, a full-screen surface with a notch, where Face ID and the front camera will be integrated. This means that the mentioned smartphone will also mean the end of Touch ID and that this model will make a significant leap in functional level.

As for the back, Apple is rumored to use the iPhone Xr design, but nothing is confirmed, and there’s also a possibility that it will use the iPhone X design. Ultimately, what matters is that it all boils down to these keys, the front with a notch, and the back side identical to one of these two terminals. The screen size will be 6.1 inchesand we will have a dual rear camera configuration, which will be an important advance compared to the single camera of the current model.
As far as the hardware is concerned, nothing is solid yet and I can’t tell you anything for sure as it will totally depend on when it’s released. However, I can give you an estimate because Apple refreshes its iPhone SE in two-year cycles. If the company keeps up this pace, we can expect the iPhone SE 4 to hit the market in the first quarter of 2024, which is when we would already see the iPhone 15 launch.
If the prediction I just left you comes true, it’s very likely that the iPhone SE 4 will arrive Apple A16 SoC and have at least 4 GB of RAM. As for the price, we will have to wait and see how the economy will do, but we can be sure that unless the euro recovers and clearly exceeds the dollar again, this new terminal will arrive with a price higher than the model had current at launch.
