The new iPhone SE of the fourth generation, scheduled for release in 2024, will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display with a dot-shaped round cutout at the top of the screen. This has been reported by MacRumors with reference to an analyst of the Ross Young group of companies Supply Chain Consultants Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).

It is not yet known whether the new smartphone will be equipped with Face ID. According to some reports, the iPhone SE (2024) will feature a Touch ID fingerprint scanner to reduce production costs. The design of modern Apple smartphone models does not include a physical sensor on the screen, so it will likely be placed on the side.

The design of the iPhone SE (2024) will be similar to the iPhone Xr released in 2018. The latter also featured a 6.1-inch LCD screen. By the way, all modern iPhone models, even budget versions like the iPhone 14, received more modern OLED screens.
