Reason for outages

The National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunication Networks (NCU) records interruptions in the work of base stations of mobile operators in some regions of Ukraine. Especially in Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Poltava Oblasts, Kharkiv and Zhytomyr, interruptions in the availability of mobile internet were noted. In some settlements, there are still noticeable problems with the availability of mobile communications.

The unstable operation of networks is associated with damage to the infrastructure of both operators and enterprises of the energy sector.

Interruptions to the availability of mobile Internet are currently recorded in the following areas:

• Khmelnitska,
• lviv,
• Poltava,
• As in the cities of Kharkov and Zhytomyr.

In some settlements, there are also noticeable problems with the availability of mobile communications.

When the connection is restored

The state special communications agency stressed that emergency service operators and their representatives are making maximum efforts to restore power supply and stable mobile communications as soon as possible, since Ukrainians’ access to communication is one of the state’s priorities.

The department also reminded that as a result of attacks on telecommunications infrastructure facilities, there should be silence on the Internet and no photo or video material should be distributed.
