The new series includes three devices: Lenovo’s Acer Chromebook 516 GE, Asus Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip, and Ideapad Gaming Chromebook. All three devices run Chrome OS and have what Google claims is more than enough to run advanced games via streaming services.
The laptops received 11th and 12th generation Intel Core processors, as well as displays with resolutions from 1080p to 1600p and refresh rates up to 144 Hz, 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. Additionally, some Chromebook models have RGB keyboard lighting for gaming and a hinge that lets you turn a laptop into a tablet.
Acer and Lenovo devices will be available in October starting at $650 and $599 respectively. The release date and price of the Asus model have not yet been announced.
