It is emphasized that the first new option was taken by the head of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg. During the Connect event, Zuckerberg appeared before the audience as a legged avatar. He stressed that implementing such a solution is not easy, so virtual worlds with VR helmets often reject such functionality.

The novelty for all users will appear in 2023. According to Zuckerberg, the exact creation of virtual characters is the most important feature for the company.

The entrepreneur also explained that it is more difficult for the system to locate the legs. For example, the developer indicated their location under the table. To do this, Meta created its own 3D model to predict the position of the legs.
