Microsoft introduced the Surface Laptop 5, an updated business laptop. According to XDA Developers, the innovation is built exclusively on Intel processors.
It is emphasized that the laptop will be offered for sale in two variations. The more compact Surface Laptop 5 is equipped with a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. The main option will be a 15-inch screen with a resolution of 2496 x 1554 pixels. Each of the computers will receive PixelSense touchscreens with Dolby Vision IQ technology.
The devices are built on 12th generation Intel Core processors from the Alder Lake-U family. The laptops will have 8 to 32GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB of SSD storage. The 13.5-inch version promises 18 hours of battery life, while the 15-inch version promises up to 17 hours of battery life.
The cost of the Surface Laptop 5 starts at $999 for a more compact version and $1299 for a laptop with a larger diagonal screen. Sales are scheduled to begin on October 25.
