Warner Bros has revealed the minimum and recommended requirements for Gotham Knights, one of the most anticipated games of what we still know as the next generation, as the transition to this game has not yet been completed and both PS4 and Xbox One are still “live”.
Gotham Knights will be a next-gen exclusive, which means It will only be released on PS5, Xbox Series SX and PC, and it was listed in the minimum requirements list because in general I think it’s one of the most demanding titles I’ve seen so far. We will see them first and then comment on them.
Minimum requirements for Gotham Knights
Windows 10 64-bit.
Intel Core i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600 (six-core) processor.
8GB of RAM.
GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 590 graphics card.
In theory, if we stick to these settings, we can play Gotham Knights with resolution 1080p and 60 FPS but set to the lowest possible quality. To give you an idea of what that means, these requirements would be, aside from RAM, the recommended level for playing previous generation titles.
In terms of equivalences, we have small error at the CPU levelbecause the correct equivalence to a Core i5-9600K which has 6 cores and 6 threads would be Ryzen 5 3500 and not the Ryzen 5 3600 because that has 6 cores and 12 threads.
At the GPU equivalence level, we have a more severe bug because GTX 1660 Ti is 22% more powerful than Radeon RX 590. The closest to such a NVIDIA graphics card would be the Radeon RX Vega 56, which is slightly more powerful.
We don’t have details on the recommended requirements, but looking at the minimum level, I’d venture to say so They will be something like this:
Windows 10 64-bit.
Core i5-11600K or Ryzen 5 5600X (six cores and twelve threads).
16 GB of RAM.
GeForce RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6600.
I remind you that Gotham Knights will support ray tracing applied to reflections on PC and DLSS Super resolution (DLSS2). It will also have technology Intel XeSSand will use Denuvo as an anti-piracy protection system. If all goes according to plan, this game will be released on the day 21st October.
